Interfaith Pastoral Services provides General Chaplaincy Support to Activity Directors and Event Coordinators at Senior Care Homes, Veterans Care Facilities, Nursing Homes, Rehabilitation Centers, and Assisted Living Facilities with the following services:
1. ON-SITE SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES:
Our Sunday Church Services are provided for those who,… because of health, mobility, or disability issues,… find it difficult or medically unsafe to leave their care facility and go to a church somewhere. Our Church/Worship Services are presented in a Christian nondenominational format. The worship flow, Bible citations, and hymn lyrics are all projected onto a large screen for easy reading and participation. No one has to hold any booklets or worship programs in their hands, which is very helpful to the elderly.
2. OLD-TIME GOSPEL SING-A-LONG HOUR:
Love Jesus? Like music? Enjoy singing with others? We offer an Old-Time Gospel Hour of just music and singing to support activities outside of Sunday Worship. We play many of the old gospel classics that are easily recognizable so people can sing along and praise God together! Words are projected onto a large screen display for easy reading and group participation. Great fun for the residents as well as any visiting family members or friends.
3. PRE/POST SURGERY VISITS – Prayers and Blessings provided for those entering into, or recovering from, medical procedures.
4. FUNERAL MINISTER – We are available to officiate funerals services, memorial services, and annual grave site blessings.
5. SENIOR PASTOR ASSISTANCE – We are available assist local pastors if they need a break from the pulpit. We can temporarily stand-in to preach or lead Worship Services (due to temporary leave of absence for vacation, illness, or other business).
6. WORSHIP TEAM BACKUP: In the event your Worship Team can’t perform due to sudden illness or vacation, we can provide classic gospel music to keep your worship service flowing with appropriate, recognizable gospel hymns. We are self-sufficient and come complete with professional sound system. Hymn lyrics are projected onto a large screen display. Alternately, we can plug into your church house system, if preferred.
